Cancellation Policy

Terms & Conditions – The Wellness Compass Last Updated: 1st January 2026 Overview These Terms & Conditions apply to all bookings and services provided by Lynda Brettle, trading as The Wellness Compass, via Expat Mentors Ltd. Services Include: Counselling, coaching, Reiki, Emotion Code®, Body Code®, and Belief Code® sessions. These are complementary and holistic practices and not a substitute for medical, psychological, or emergency care. Personal Responsibility • I am over 18 years of age and my participation is voluntary, OR • I am a parent/guardian booking for someone under 18 years of age, OR • I am the owner/guardian of an animal booking a session. I understand that I am responsible for seeking other professional or medical support when needed. Urgent Support Notice: If you are in acute emotional distress (not necessarily suicidal) and require urgent support, please contact Befrienders Worldwide to find your nearest Samaritans-style organisation globally. Booking & Payment • All sessions must be booked and paid for in advance. • Fees are clearly stated at the time of booking. • In-person sessions are held regularly in Los Montesinos, Alicante 03187, and ad hoc elsewhere on the Costa Blanca. Please email for availability. Additional location fees may apply. • Discounts are available for regular online clients or Costa Blanca locals; a code will be provided for use at checkout. Cancellations • 48 hours notice by email is required to reschedule or transfer a session. • Missed sessions or late cancellations may be charged in full. Online Sessions • Clients are responsible for their internet connection and private space. • Sessions are not recorded unless agreed in advance. Confidentiality • All client information and sessions are confidential, except where disclosure is required by law or there is a serious risk of harm. 1 • Full details are available in the Privacy Policy. Consent for Energy Work • I give informed consent to receive Reiki and other energy-based techniques. • I understand experiences and results are unique; no guarantees are made. • Sessions may be paused or stopped at any time by the client. Energy work may involve emotional or physical sensations. Professional Boundaries • I agree to respectful communication and behaviour. • Practitioner may end or decline sessions if boundaries are not respected or the service is inappropriate. Liability • Practitioner is not responsible for decisions or actions taken outside of sessions.
